fear

Book one in the Adam Series

To kick start the Adam series, FEAR is mainly set in a verisimilar modern-day New York City. The series is written with each chapter of each book providing the perspective of an individual character. This allows the reader to fully immerse themselves in the character’s world and share in every experience. Human emotion is key, and you will come to feel the highs and lows that the wealth of characters convey - you will feel their joy, their pain, the depths of their despair, the ecstasy of their passions, and of course, their unrelenting FEAR.

The Adam Series can be best described as a series of thriller novels. However, I aim to provide a complete story, a complete experience, and so, you’ll find a little romance, some mystery, a little horror, supernatural, and tweaks to moments in history.

In a modern-day retelling of the oldest story of all time, Adam and Eve, you’ll explore the world of Adam and discover the truth behind the world’s first man.

The blurb

As the twelfth member, he must make twelve sacrifices. It is done, and a young Bantu tribesman is welcomed into the mysterious Avunaye.

Fifteen hundred years later, in the city of New York, the ritual has been attempted again. Twelve bodies are discovered hanging from the ceiling of a warehouse belonging to notorious crime boss Vladimir Markovic. Investigating the scene, a team of FBI special agents, as well as several police officers, barely escape with their lives thanks to the help of a mysterious man named Adam.

But when Adam recovers from what should have been mortal wounds, it becomes clear to those investigating that they have no idea what they are dealing with - and it’s not over yet.

This is only the beginning.

passion

Book two in the Adam Series

Passion continues the story of Adam, introducing you to new characters as the remaining Avunaye make their way to New York. Whereas Fear kept you on tender hooks, playing on the individual fears of the characters, Passion explores the many instances of passion that a person can endure. Whether that passion is regarding love, lust, sex, or perhaps a burning desire to seek revenge or obtain the truth, you’ll find yourself completely immersed in the chaos that true passion can bring.

The blurb

The hunt is on.

As the F.B.I continues its pursuit of Vladimir Markovic and his associates, special agent Krysta Rose-Anderson finds herself longing for answers that only Adam can provide. Yet, with Adam missing, and the threat of the Avunaye feeling greater than ever, Krysta will soon find that she is not the only one searching for him.

Bound by blood and their common goal of locating the tree of knowledge, the remainder of the Avunaye head towards Manhattan. Individual passions and superhuman feuds cause chaos, terrorising the city once more.

But as the immortals discover that their newfound free will has come at a price, who can they turn to when their own existence is jeopardised?

A new darkness looms and nothing is certain.

Despair

Keep an eye out for updates!

Below you’ll find some original artwork created during the early stages of writing Fear. I will happily admit that I am not an artist; however, I found that a visual representation of my characters aided in evolving them from mere thoughts and images in my mind to the descriptions that hopefully allow you, the reader, to envisage them yourself.

(Character images in order from left to right - Adam, Krysta Rose-Anderson, Solomon Grey, Luciana Rodriguez, Claire Davenport, Michael Ward, Seamus McCarthy, Nahki, Brandt, Serena, Evelina, Bomani, and Tisa.)

Using an AI image creator, I have been able to create images of the characters. Read the short bio’s below for interesting facts about the characters of the Adam Series.

As of June 25, 2023, Fear received a fresh new cover, allowing it to fit neatly into the series.
